This boot is a great choice for skiers who are looking to progress out of the intermediate realm and into the advanced world. The BFC 100 BOA has a lot going for it in the high-volume, mid-flex range.

We love the BOA closure system on a boot at this price point—seems to be the trend moving forward. With an awesome blend of fit and precision, the K2 BFC 100 is easy to use and can be driven pretty hard by the right skier.

Who it's for:

The boot is best for an intermediate with a wider foot and a higher instep. There’s some room in the boot for this type of skier, and the flex keeps it in the mid-range of performance capacity.

Highlights:

The BOA system is huge. You can fine-tune the fit in more of a wrapped format, allowing skiers to get the best mix of comfort and performance. In addition, the shell is heat-moldable, so if you need even more room, the TPU shell can be heated and stretched by a professional boot fitter.

Things to consider:

Skiers with narrow feet or low arches may find some extra wiggle room. Also, if you’re already an advanced or expert skier, this boot comes in a 120-flex as well, and that’s worth a look.
